Dear Luang Por who I highly respect, My name is Amy Kittiudom. I am the daughter of Thai parents, but was born and raised in America. I flew across the oceans to be the first emcee of DMC broadcasting in English and today I have a report to present to you, Luang Por. Today, I would like to be the representative for the Communications Department to bring all students of Inner Dream Kindergarten Program the Highlight News from CNN that will make everyone proud so that everyone can all rejoice in this merit together. During April 2-6, 2012 that just passed, I was able to report the news of the Dhammachai Pilgrimage at Siam Paragon, the middle of Bangkok, Thailand --which is considered to be a popular tourist’s attraction for both Thais and Foreigners. After filming, my team and I were able to edit the video clips that we took and send it to CNN. Within one night, CNN was so interested in my story that they sent me an e-mail asking many questions about the Dhammachai Pilgrimage showing their interest. They even had me record additional videos to be sent to CNN. Then on Friday April 20, 2012, CNN responded by telling me that they took my story of the Dhammachai Pilgrimage for the Procession of the Golden Image of Phramongkolthepmuni to be aired on CNN International during the iReport for CNN Program. My video is two minutes long, and they will be airing this video seven times! Altogether, the on-air time I get for my story is about 14 minutes! Before playing my video, the host of CNN said, “a recent pilgrimage through the streets of Bangkok, Thailand was a showstopper, captivating the hearts of tourists and locals alike all wanting to see a glimpse of their journey.” Also, at the end of my video, he said one word, which was "Remarkable." Besides airing my video, CNN also gave credit to The Dhammakaya Foundation for providing pictures and videos of this pilgrimage to be used in CNN iReport. At the top right hand corner under the CNN logo, they put the words “Dhammakaya Foundation”. For CNN (the biggest, well known television news channel worldwide) to broadcast this event on television is because of the interest that Buddhist Culture brings. It is something that everyone was able to come together and create. I would like to thank you, Luang Por, for organizing this pilgrimage because this gave me an opportunity to report and broadcast something amazing for everyone around the world.

With my highest respects,

Amy Kittiudom
